hi slvereagle

just found the san marcos salamander today....a great find.....i found it on the ground and could be seen as soon as i walked at the side of it....

so after i finished...i placed it back on the beam and pushed it waaayyyy back....as far as i could reach....

never knew this part was there and i had been there numerous times years ago....

That sounds like fun! I am located on the NW side of San Antonio, and I am wondering about the San Marcos and Austin area letterboxes. Would it be a day trip or an afternoon do you think? Is it hard to find? :)Kimm

That is great and thanks for hiding it properly!
Somebody that lives near there told me the lake floods
sometimes so I will probably have to relocate that box
next time I am out that way. Glad it is still there for now.

You could go after my Friedrich Warbler letterbox located
in Northwest San Antonio first since it should be close.

Hi Kim,

I am from Austin and am wanting to start doing
letterboxing. I have friends in California that are
very into it and very excited about it but I am not
now able to join them in this pursuit.

I was wondering if you would mind my joining you if
you are letterboxing in Austin or that I might join
you at some other place in Texas. I can provide you
with references and will be happy to answer most
questions about me that you would like to ask.

Thanks for your consideration Kim!
